SPINNING - Now at The Park

Spinning is a brand new concept in indoor cycling, you can improve your health, fitness and well being and have fun at the same time.

Classes run every weekday evening and weekend morning. Classes from £3.50 per session.

BoxFit Classes

Join Martin every Monday from the 5th March between 6pm and 7pm at The Park for an hour of BoxFit.

A great way to get fit using a variety of training methods, glove and pad work, circuit training and many more. All abilities welcome.

Classes cost £5 or buy 10 passes for only £30.

CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym based)

Your career as a Fitness Instructor begins here. Next course begins on Wednesday 25th April 2012. The course runs for 11 Wednesday's between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and costs only £350. Circuit Training qualification also available to run alongside.

The Park holds an informal Open Evening on Wednesday 18th April 2012 at between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, where you get a chance to meet the Tutor, see the facilities and ask any questions you may have about the course.


Zumba Fitness classes (Daytime classes)

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.

Daytime classes with Alina - These classes are suitable for all to come and enjoy, have fun and get fit. Special Thursday class for Mums and babies. Workout in same room, bottle warming facilities and breast feeding welcome. Starting Thursday 6th October 2011.

Thursday's 10am - 11am and 1.30pm - 2.30pm (Mums and Baby) - Classes £4.00

Daytime Zumba Gold classes with Kelly - This class is best suited to those who are 55 and over. Also suited to those new to exercise or getting back into exercise. The lower impact,easy-to-follow Latin-inspired dance fitness-party. Every Friday at 10am. (Starting Friday 9th March 2012)

New Heavy Weights and Boxing rooms

The Park Sports Centre recently opend two new rooms next to the Health & Fitness Suite. A Heavy Weights room and a Boxing room. Both these areas are available for members to use and can also be booked out on a sessional basis.

        

 

Table Tennis

Book a Table Tennis at The Park for only £6 per game.

 

           

Baminton Courts

Badminton courts to available to hire at various times throughout the week. Only £6 per court. Please call for more information or to make a booking.


        

Core Strength, Toning and Relaxation classes

Every Monday 6 pm - 7 pm at The Park.

Combines Yoga and Pilates to improve your Health & Fitness in a fun way. If you're recovering from injury, managing chronic health conditions or looking to improve suppleness, strength and flexibility then this is for you.

Only £3 for your first 2 sessions.



 

Simple Circuit classes

Simple Circuit fitness classes run every Wednesday at The Park between 6pm and 7pm in Dance Studio 1. The class is only £3 and open to people of all ages and abilities.

Fun Exercise class, Well qualified Instructor, Open to people with stable medical conditions including after a heart attack or cardiac surgery, open to older people, open to "unfit" people and beginners, friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
